Refunds
Draft. This page has not been reviewed or approved by the platform owner yet. Lines marked “owner to supply” are facts this platform cannot know about itself and must be filled in before the page is relied on.
This page covers paid courses and course bundles: what happens when you buy, how to ask for your money back, and what the platform can and cannot do for you today.
1. What happens when you buy
You are sent to the payment provider’s own checkout page to pay. Your card details go to the provider, never to this platform. When the provider confirms the payment, the platform records an order — the course or bundle, the price at that moment, the currency, and the provider’s reference — and enrols you straight away. For a bundle, that means enrolment into every course in the bundle.
The price on your order is a snapshot. If the price of that course changes later, your order still shows what you actually paid.
Owner to supplythe name that will appear on a buyer’s card statement (the billing descriptor set in the payment provider), so buyers can recognise the charge and do not raise a chargeback against their own purchase.
2. When you can ask for a refund
Owner to supplythe refund policy itself: how long after purchase a refund can be asked for, whether starting a course or sitting the assessment ends that right, and how a bundle subscription is treated mid-period. This draft deliberately states no number of days — the platform has no such rule recorded anywhere, and guessing one would be worse than leaving it blank.
Separately from whatever policy the owner sets, you may have refund or cancellation rights under consumer law where you live. Those rights are not affected by anything on this page.
3. Refunds and certificates
If you have already passed the assessment and been issued a certificate, a refund does not withdraw it. The certificate is the record that you earned continuing-education credit, and the platform does not delete that record. Ask before you sit the assessment if you are unsure whether you want to keep the course.
4. How to ask
Write to us through the contact page and include the course or bundle name, the email address on the account, and the date of purchase. That is enough to find the order.
Being straight about what is built: there is no refund button in the platform, and no self-service cancellation for a bundle subscription. Both are known gaps. A refund is issued by hand through the payment provider, and a subscription is cancelled the same way, after you write to us. When those flows are built, this page will say so.
Owner to supplywho actions a refund and how quickly a buyer should expect a reply — the target response time you are willing to state in public.
5. Payments that fail or go missing
If a payment fails, no order is completed and no enrolment is created — nothing is charged for a course you did not get. The platform enrols you only once the payment provider reports the payment as settled.
One consequence of that is worth stating plainly rather than leaving you to discover it: a payment method that settles later instead of immediately (some bank debits work this way) does not enrol you when you finish checkout, and the platform does not yet pick the enrolment up by itself when the money lands. If you were charged but the course did not appear, write to us with the date and amount; the order record and the provider’s reference let us match the payment and put it right by hand.
6. The rest of the agreement
The terms of use cover the rest of your relationship with the platform, and the privacy page covers what an order record holds.
